Dallas County Heritage Society, now known as Old City Park Conservancy, managed Old City Park from 1967 to 2023. In 2023, the City of Dallas Park & Recreation Department took over daily management of the park, and Old City Park Conservancy shifted its focus to advocating for and supporting the park and its collection of buildings. Today, OCPC provides funding for building repairs and grounds maintenance and administers an endowment to support specific projects that benefit the park.
Monetary donations are crucial to the maintenance and operation of City Park and come in many forms: annual gifts, bequests, corporate matching gifts, gifts for specific programs, and unrestricted donations. All contributions are deeply appreciated, and fully tax-deductible.
Annual Membership in Dallas County Heritage Society/Old City Park Conservancy is automatically awarded to all donors who make an annual cash donation of $100 or more. As a Member, you will be invited to the Annual Members Meeting to participate in the election of the Board of Trustees.
